The Midlands Contact Centre Forum (MCCF) was created in 2011 as a response to a growing demand from Contact Centres across the Midlands. Operating as a membership organisation, MCCF’s core aim is to support the identification and sharing of good practices within the sector whilst attracting Public Sector investment to meet the needs of a sector that is key to the success of the regional economy.
The Midlands Contact Centre Forum will operate to primarily serve the needs of contact centres operating or seeking to operate the East or West Midlands area, however contact centres located outside these areas are welcome to attend and become members. Events take place frequently across the whole of the region. The East Midlands encompasses the combined area of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and most of Lincolnshire. The West Midlands is considered to comprise of the West Midlands County as well as Shropshire, Herefordshire and Staffordshire.
The contact centre sector across the two closely linked regions employs over 158,000 people (Source Contact Babel 2011,) over 3 in 10 of the working population.
